Bestway Oilfield (“Bestway,” “we,” “us”) provides the Bestway Slide Rule mobile application (the “App”) so customers and field teams can look up API flange dimensions. This policy covers the App on iOS (App Store or TestFlight) and Android (Google Play or internal testing). It does not cover the Bestway website or customer portal.
What the App does
The App is a flange dimension tool. It does not require an account, username, or password. There is no in-app chat. You can browse sizes and pressure ratings, identify a flange from measurements, search ring numbers and bolt circles, and view slide-ruler, sealing-face, and neck diagrams (inches or millimeters).
Flange data ships inside the App so the slide rule works without a network connection after install. When the device is online, the App may refresh that catalog from Bestway servers so dimensions stay current.
Optional Call, Email, and Website buttons open your device’s Phone, Mail, and browser apps. They are not chat inside the App.
Information we collect
- We do not ask for your name, email, or phone to use the slide rule.
- A copy of the flange catalog may be stored on your device so browse, identify, and search work offline. That file is product dimensions, not your identity.
- When you are online, the App may request updated flange data from Bestway-operated hostnames (including sliderule.bestwayoilfield.com). Hosting and security logs may include IP address, user agent, and request time.
- If you look up a flange while online, the App may send a usage event (for example that a slide-rule lookup occurred, with the selected flange size/rating). This is operational product use. We do not sell it.
- Call and Email use your carrier or email provider and our published contacts (info@bestwayoilfield.com, +1 281 452 2525). Those messages do not go through the App itself.
- Website opens bestwayoilfield.com in the browser. That site is not the App; this policy does not describe the website.
Analytics
The App does not use Google Analytics or a cookie-consent banner. We do not sell personal information.
Children
The App is designed for professional industrial use and is not directed at children under 13.
Data retention & security
Device-stored flange data remains until you delete the App or the App replaces it with a newer catalog. Network logs and operational usage events are retained only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, and service quality, subject to Bestway policy and applicable law. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for systems under our control.
Your choices
- You may stop using the App at any time (delete it from your device).
- You may use the App offline. Call, Email, and Website need a network and your device apps.

Changes
We may update this policy as the App or our practices evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
